Murshidabad Police arrest man with 523 grams gold biscuits in border area smuggling bust

Murshidabad police arrested a 26-year-old man named Milan Sheikh during a midnight raid near Nawadapara Bridge in the Sagarpara police station area. Sheikh was found carrying 523 grams of gold biscuits without any valid documents. The operation was part of ongoing efforts to prevent illegal gold trafficking in the border region.

The gold biscuits were seized on the spot and Sheikh was taken into custody. Authorities suspect the gold was being transported for smuggling purposes. Following the arrest, Sheikh was presented before the Baharampur court and was remanded to police custody for further investigation.
